Years 5 and 6 are inspired!

Years 5 and 6 were treated to a special workshop with Author and Illustrator, Karin Littlewood. Karin told us more about her writing and drawing process and the children discussed possible ways an idea could be shown through an image. They also had the opportunity to ask a lot of interesting questions about her career.
We spent some of the time beginning our own illustrations, based on the book 'Immi' and the children were incredibly engaged and excited to show Karin their work (and have some of it signed!). When we returned to class we continued our illustrations and some of the children including them in their own picture books.
