Year 5 Autumn Spelling Bee

Today Year 5 completed their first Spelling Bee of the year. Every child participated and we were really proud of the support they showed each other and how well they faced some tricky words from their Spelling homework so far this year! It was clear that the children have been practising hard.
It was a close competition but we did end up with an overall winner from 5L for this term. Many of the children will now also receive a special yellow or purple bee to go on display in school. Well done Year 5- a lovely way to end the term.
