Year 5 Artists
Last week, our Year 5 pupils had the opportunity to take part in a special Art competition being run by Brentford School for Girls. They were tasked with choosing a famous piece of art and recreating it in their own way. We were lucky enough to be joined for the morning by some of the students from the sixth form at Brentford School for Girls, who assisted our pupils with their ideas.
We were incredibly impressed by the unique ways the children chose to create their entry and there was a huge range of mediums used, from dominoes to each other! They concentrated brilliantly and showed great enthusiasm and skill too.
The entries have been sent off and will be displayed in a gallery at the secondary school on Thursday 27th June- your child will bring home a leaflet with further details.
