Year 4 Pedestrian training

On Monday the year 4 classes had two visitors into school to teach them about staying safe on the roads. The children walked around some local streets learning where and how to cross roads safely.
The children found the sessions very interesting and learnt new information about staying safe. We learnt that some drop curbs have bumps to help blind people know they are at a road and we also learnt that under the push button at traffic lights there is a spinning cone to help blind people know when to cross the road safely.
