Good roots run deep

Year 2 have been looking at mapping as part of our Geography lessons. We have looked at maps of Brentford and yesterday we used a map to follow a path and mark important landmarks and human features that they have seen. The children used symbols to identify different places like the church, the library, the dentist office and the doctor's. We are very grateful to the adults that volunteered their time to make this happen. Some of the children said they have never visited parts of Brentford that we had seen so it was a great experience for them!
