Good roots run deep

Year 2 had a great time testing, observing and researching during Science Week! They made anemometers on Monday to measure windspeed and tested it every day to see how windy it was outside. They then focused on plants for the rest of the week. We went for a walk around the school and looked at plants that grow here, then researched and learned about Lavandula Angustifolia (English Lavender). We looked at the different plant habitats and why plants grow where they do. We had a great time sharing what we've learned with the Year 6's!
