Good roots run deep

This half term Year 2 have been reading a new chapter book in English called Anna Hibiscus. She lives in Nigeria with her huge family. This week we have read a bit further into the story and have talked about what the characters feel and think in each of the scenes. We acted out a freeze frame where the children posed as if they were a character in the story scene. The children had a lot of fun immersing themselves in the story!
