Year 2 take a trip to Portsmouth

Yesterday we took a coach to Portsmouth harbour. The children throughly enjoyed the coach ride and they were great at sitting for such a long journey. Once we arrived we took a walk to the Hotwalls and climbed the tower where the children had a great view of the harbour and they enjoyed watching all the ships as they passed by. After that, we collected some pebbles and shells, found some interesting seaweed and stones. After lunch we visited the local museum which had an exhibition about sea life. It was a fantastic day.
