Year 2 make 3d shapes out of spaghetti and blue tac!

In our maths lesson last week, the children were asked to take on a challenge. We had previously been learning about 3D shapes so the children were asked to see if they could make a 3d shape out of spaghetti and blue tac. It is quite tricky because the spaghetti is very fragile and you have to be careful when you are going it together. As the children were completing this challenge they were discussing how many faces, vertices and edges their shape has.
