Year 2 go to the National Portrait Gallery

Year 2 have been focused on Art this half term and have been practising their portrait skills. We have looked at a few portraits of Queen Elizabeth I and II and had the great opportunity to go and see one in person at the National Portrait Gallery! We sketched mini portraits of each other and then sketched a portrait of Queen Elizabeth I. They children had a great time and thank you to our parent volunteers!
