Year 2 dive Into The Forest

This term we are reading and discussing a selection of Anthony Browne books in our English lessons. Last week we started Into The Forest. This story is great because it includes many different well known fairytales. The illustrator gives the reader lots of clues through the pictures on each page and the children throughly enjoyed search for the fairytale clues on each page. Today the children completed a 'hot seating' activity where they had to pretend that they were the little boy in the story. This little boy woke up one morning and his father was gone!
