Good roots run deep

​Year 1 have been learning about animals this half term for science. We have learned about mammals, fish, birds, reptiles and amphibians and now have had the chance to look at them up close! The children had the chance to look at, touch, or hold snakes, cockroaches, stick insects, scorpians, a tortoise, giant African snail, lizards, a bunny and a ferret! They were very brave and treated the animals with great care.
