World Book day fun in 4L

Last Thursday as a school we celebrated world book day.
The children enjoyed coming to school dressed as a book character and guessing who their friends were dressed up as. The day started with a whole school assembly during which each class had the chance to parade around to show the fabulous costumes they had worn to each other.
Throughout the day the children took part in fun book led activities and a live assembly with other schools.
To end the day 4L took part in the big book swap during which they had the opportunity to select a new book from ones their friends had donated towards the big swap.
It was lovely to spend the day discussing books and hearing about the different books children enjoy reading.
