Victorian toys

In Year 6 we have been learning about Victorian toys and comparing them to toys we have now. As part of a Design and Technology unit we have designed and are making our own Victorian Hobby horses.
The children really enjoyed measuring and sawing their wood today and have carefully outlined and decorated the heads of the horses. I was really impressed by their enthusiasm and the care they took. I can’t wait to see them all completed.
