Good roots run deep

In our PE lessons we have been focusing on gymnastic skills. 

We learnt five gymnastic actions - pike, straight, star, straddle and tuck - which we have been using when travelling across the benches and when working on the floor. 

This week we added the tables to our benches and focused on jumping safely. We tried a straight jump and a star jump. 

The children were very confident and even began to add balances to their sequences.
