Tasting different sauces

In Topic this week year 4 have continued learning about food dishes and where they come from around the world. The children used the skills they’d learnt in previous Lessons to prepare and make a stir fry. They used the skills chopping, peeling and grating.
The children added carrots, peppers, broccoli, mushrooms and bamboo shoots into their stir fry.
Once all the preparation was done the children got to taste some different stir fry sauces with their vegetables, they tried chow Mein, sweet chili with garlic and also sticky Teriyaki
After tasting each stir fry the children completed an evaluation sheet giving their thoughts on each dish.
