Good roots run deep

This week we have been thinking about signs of winter and have been learning about the changes that occur as winter begins. 

We talked about animals that hibernate in winter and the reasons they do this. We even found some examples of squirrel nests in the trees around our garden. 

 On Thursday afternoon, we read Stickman and talked about the struggles he faced on his journey home. We then created a story map, plotting these events in order. During choosing time, the children created their own story maps.
