Starting to mark make in Nursery

Today the nursery children took part in a mark making activity. They used paint brushes, cotton buds, glue spreaders and their fingers to make marks (lines, circles, spirals etc) in a variety of materials including flour, salt and glitter. This helps them develop their pencil grips, fine motor skills and anticlockwise movements.
