Reversible or irreversible?

As part of our ‘materials’ science topic, 4J investigated which materials are changed by heat - and whether or not the changes are reversible or irreversible. Here, we are looking at bread and comparing the change after it has been toasted - once it cools, will it return to being fresh bread again?
