Good roots run deep

Reception had a very exciting French Day last week. 

We were joined by Alice's Dad who brought a selection of stories for the children to look at. The children were keen to share the stories with their friends and could identify some familiar characters and events. He then read us a lovely story about a wolf who looses his tooth in French. 

Later in the day we explored French Polynesia, and identified where French is spoken around the world. We also tried some food from France! 

We finished our day with a fantastic performance of Frere Jacques in front of the whole school.
