Ocean layers become reality

Last week 5/6L were really eager to begin working on their Ocean dioramas, based on our learning about the layers of the ocean. The pairs began by shaping their boxes and then adding in the main layers of the ocean. They paid careful attention to mixing shades and colours to show how the depth changes and began to research different animals and plant life more carefully. Their enthusiasm was lovely to see and we can't wait to carry on next lesson!
