Good roots run deep

We have just started our new topic in Science, which is all about plants. The children were shown pictures of common, wild and garden plants and trees. We then played a game where the children had to identify the plants before the names were revealed. Later on, the children went outside with their science books and they were encouraged to draw and label a flower or tree. The children throughly enjoyed looking at the different types of flowers in the school garden.
