Good roots run deep

This term in Nursery we are learning about Minibeasts. This week we have been reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar. We have used this book as the basis of our maths learning. We looked at the patterns on caterpillars bodies and made our own repeating caterpillar patterns using unifix cubes. We then talked about the colours and patterns on butterfly wings and how they are symmetrical. We made our our symmetrical pattern pictures using paint and folded paper.
