Lab in a lorry

Last week lower KS2 were lucky to have a visit from Kingston University. They split the class into 3 groups to carry out some Science investigations.
One group was learning about the digestive system and how food breaks down in our bodies, they loved this hands on explanation. The second group were dissecting flowers and learning about the different flower parts. In the third group the children were using microscopes to look closely at different materials.
The children in 4L really enjoyed the Science focus for the visit and took some great learning away from the session.
