Good roots run deep

Year 1 went to Syon House today to prepare for our upcoming Topic! We looked at the old rooms throughout the house and talked about what they were used for. We learned about technology in the past and looked at what they used for different household items such as a chamber pot, bed warmer and carpet beater. The children then explored the conservatory looking at different plants and drawing pictures of them. We had a long but great day! Thank you again to all the parents that helped make this trip a success.
