Good roots run deep

This week I was particularly inspired by the thought, care and action of one of our pupils. She arrived on the school gate with a smart new haircut.  Nothing too extraordinary there.  However, I later discovered that she had chosen to cut her long hair to donate to the Locks of Love charity.  This charity works with children with medical conditions or undergoing treatment through which they experience hair loss.  The donated hair is used to make up pony tails, hair pieces and wigs.
