How do shadows change?

This afternoon, 3M investigated how shadows change. One of the pupils asked her own question - what happens if you move a shadow puppet away from the torch - does the shadow get bigger or smaller? 3H then investigated this question. They found out that the shadow gets smaller the further you move the shadow puppet away from the torch. Well done 3M!
