Giving thanks for our school year
As we come to the end of another school year, we have sent many of our school family onto their next chapter of their journeys: our year 6 pupils left us today with understandably mixed emotions, but still ready to explore the opportunities secondary school will bring them. We are extremely proud of our Year 6 pupils and all of their focus, determination and hard work this year. They have achieved a lot and are wonderful children who will all be a real asset to their new schools in September. We wish them well as they move on from St. Paul's.
We also say goodbye to some members of staff, and members of the wider school community. We hope that whatever comes next for anyone leaving the school brings them joy and new beginnings.
It has been a busy year at school but as always we are so grateful for our school family and all of the individuals and families who make us 'St. Paul's'. We hope you enjoy a well-earned summer break and can't wait to see our returning families in September.
Father God,
We ask that you bless the entire St. Paul's community this summer. Thank you for the gifts and blessings that our children, staff and families bring into the school. We ask that you protect us all over the summer and give us an opportunity to spend time with loved ones, relax and recharge ready for whatever comes next in September. We thank you Lord for our brilliant Year 6 pupils and ask that you are with them as they move onto secondary school. Remove their anxiety and doubts and fill them with confidence and excitement. Help them see what amazing qualities they can bring to a new school. We also ask that you are with the staff and families moving on from us and that you keep them in your sight. Thank you for all of the learning and growth that has taken place in school this year, and the experiences that have been shared.
