Good roots run deep

It was lovely to have Eco Club back together today, with some new Eco Warriors joining the group! We learnt about ‘Earth Day’ which takes place this Saturday (22nd April). This year’s theme is ‘Invest in Planet Earth’ and the focus is on considering small changes we can make to protect our world.

To mark this special day we created pledges to think of ways we will try and care for and love the world around us. The children came up with lots of fantastic ideas and presented them beautifully. The ideas included: picking up litter when it is safe to do so; switching off the lights when we leave a room; trying to walk and reduce our use of cars/vehicles and recycling as much as we can.
