Curriculum Enrichment Day in 3C

On Thursday, we had ‘Curriculum Enrichment Day’ where children got an opportunity to creatively learn about and enjoy music from another culture through Samba Drumming Workshop. Children had so much fun learning about various percussion instruments that help them to develop their musicality; sense of pulse, rhythm, pitch and phrasing. Children are taken on an imaginative journey through song and rhythm, inspiring creative thought and a love of music making.
Even more amazing, children made their own musical instruments in the afternoon and beautifully performed in different groups. Learning to play the drums can be a fantastic way to ‘come out of their shell’ and feel more confident in everything else they do.
