Cleaning up Brentford!
This week some of our Year 5 and 6 pupils- including some of our older Junior Chaplains- volunteered to go litter picking in the local area. The children were very enthusiastic and managed to collect a lot of litter in a short time. They were really pleased to be able to be helping keep Brentford tidy and collected litter outside of school, around the park and down by the old police station. They did a brilliant job and made our school proud.
We were amazed by how many children were keen to help out and will definitely be heading out on another litter pick with some more pupils soon! It helps to remind us that we are tasked with looking after God’s wonderful creation, whilst also showing us how we can make a difference in our own community. Small steps- big impact!
