Good roots run deep

This week we have been thinking about Black History month and why it is important for us to mark the achievements of black men, women and children.  

We have explored the work of Yinka Shonibare and have used his painting ‘Blue’ as the inspiration for our own piece of art. 

The children have created their own tiles, selecting colours and creating patterns and pictures.
