5L’s Kindness in Advent

In 5L we are marking Advent with kindness. Each day, a child's name is pulled out and they share the ‘act of kindness’ for that day. We are supporting each other and sharing when someone else completes one of the challenges.
So far they have included tasks such as: ‘helping with a job at home’; ‘holding the door open for someone’; ‘playing with someone new’, and ‘thanking someone for what they do for you’. It's lovely to see so many of the children trying to complete the kindness challenges and it helps remind us of the way in which Jesus wants Christians to live, as we think about his birth at Christmas.
