During RSHE, we have been learning about money and financial awareness. We discussed the concept of investments and the potential risks and benefits involved with investing money.
To help the children understand this idea, they took part in an investment game with a partner. In the game, the children had to take turns in choosing between two different investments. One investment was less risky, but also was unlikely to gain a player much money. The other investment, while offering greater rewards, also game with significantly greater risks.
After playing the children discussed their experience and what they could take from this and apply to their lives.
