4L’s supermarket hunt

In topic lessons this half term years 3 and 4 are learning about where and why foods come from the countries they do in a unit called Lunch.
To explore this understanding the children went on a food hunt around our local supermarket Morrisons. The children had a sheet containing pre taken food photographs. They then walked around Morrisons in groups to locate the items in the photographs and discover which country the food items came from.
The children really enjoyed the lesson, but were surprised that the same item can come from more than one country.
