3M’s experiment successful!

Today, 3M looked at the results of their science investigation. Last week, they had put a piece of celery in a beaker of 100ml water mixed with 5 tablespoons of food colouring.
The children checked to see if the dyed water had travelled up the celery. They cut their pieces of celery in half and saw the capillaries dyed blue. They noted down what they saw and drew a diagram in their books.
