3B find signs of weathering on local buildings

3B have been learning about weathering and erosion in science lessons. Today we walked around our local streets and looked for signs on weathering on some of the older buildings in the area; St Paul's Church, Brentford Library and the war memorial, the old swimming pool and some of the terraced houses.
We were surprised by how many examples we found and the children had a good go at identifying what the cause of the weathering might have been.
