Good roots run deep

In Topic lessons 3B have been learning about cave paintings. We have studied a number of cave paintings from around the world and discussed what they teach us about life during the Stone Age. We have talked about the materials used to create them such as chalk, charcoal and ochre. 

We studied a few of the paintings in details and then had a go at copying them in our sketch books. 

Finally we chose our own theme from Stone Age life and designed our own cave paintings which we drew onto Sandpaper usings pastels, chalk and charcoal.
