In topic lessons this half term 3B have been learning about hats, with a particular focus on the hats that might be worn to Ascot. We have studied, sketched and evaluated lots of different styles of hats and found out about the world famous milliners who created them.
Finally in the last 2 weeks it has been the pupils turn to design and create their own “hatinator” suitable for someone to wear into the Royal Enclosure at Ascot.
The children worked incredibly hard on their creations and it was wonderful to see them supporting and encouraging each other and exchanging ideas.
Here is a small selection of the hats they made - keep a look out for others on display around the school.
