Good roots run deep

We had a fabulous day at the Wetlands Centre today. ​The day started with a puppet show, where the children were introduced to a character called Ava, who is part girl, part Osprey. In order to help Ava, the children had to follow and trail and take part in various tasks. The tasked were designed to encourage the children to reconnect with nature. The children took great pleasure in building a bug hotel, an obstacle course for ants and a football stadium for the beetles. In the afternoon, we were allowed to explore the adventure playground. This was another exciting experience for the children as they were able to crawl through tunnels and jump on trampolines. It was an amazing day and the children throughly enjoyed it!
